The Line of Sun normally runs straight down the palm, the appearance of this line in the hand increases the potential of a good fate line and when in harmony with the other lines on the hand, ensures a life that will be crowned with success. If it is not in harmony it merely indicates a personal psychology which is not in harmony with the arts. The line of Life, a curved line outlining and surrounding the Mount of Venus. This line is said to indicate the length of life, although most modern palmists do not accept this approach. They think this line correlates with the general physical vitality of the individual. Breaks in the line may indicate illness, but may equally indicate a strong alteration in the equality of the subjects life, such as a change of career.
The Line of Health runs diagonally down the palm, the presence of this line indicates that people who have this marking should devote more than usual care to his or her health.
Within the life line which that physical activity is strongly controlled by the mind. From the mount of Jupiter which shows relative lack of control of physical powers.
The Line of Fate runs down the center of the hand, sometimes the line is doubled, this is a splendid formation which indicates that the person will follow two quite distinct but associated careers. It is worth remembering however that the line indicates, not what will inevitably happen but what pursuits in life we may follow. The Heart Line runs roughly parallel to the line of head below the base of the fingers, the Heart Line is normally read in conjunction with the line of head, using this method it can be seen how mentality and emotions balance or fail to balance in the personality of the individual.
The Girdle of Venus runs nearer the base of the fingers than the Heart Line. Early palmists believed that the existence of this line denoted a strongly sensual nature, where as most modern palmists believe it indicates a sensitive intellectual psychology.
